Tarot blockages: Why are there people or subjects that cannot be read?

In this chapter of the tarot course, we will see the blocks in the tarot. We will see: Why sometimes I can not read the cards? Why does the tarot gives me contradictory messages or meaningless cards? Why are there certain topics that can not be read in the tarot? Why are there people who can not throw the cards? Why are the blocks good?

Tarot blocks Why do I receive contradictory messages?

Sometimes, when we read the tarot, it happens that we find it difficult to read, either because we do not understand the cards, or because they appear confusing, contradictory signals, or they may be difficult to read or understand.

When this happens, there are several reasons. On the one hand, it means that you are not in the right mindset to do a tarot reading, or you are not ready to see or understand the information you need to heal, that the subject is not yet clear, that the information cannot yet be revealed, or that the cards need to be cleansed.

In other words, either the tarot reader is not centered, there is something interfering, or it is not yet time to ask.

It can also happen that you have an energetic blockage, for this you must do a cleaning of your house, you and your tarot cards.
On the other hand, another situation that generates a blockage in the reading, may occur because the tarot reader is involved in the subject or person, and has compromised or conflicting feelings. Generally, there is something that makes you angry, passionate or sad. There is a lack of neutrality when interpreting or reading.

That is, things happen to you and a part of you refuses to see them, doesn’t want to know, or worse, shouldn’t know. This may be for fear of seeing something we do not want to know, or because what you see clashes with a personal perspective on the subject, or some issue of your own that you have not yet finished processing emotionally.

This usually occurs for readings with the theme of pregnancy, children or partner, either consciously or unconsciously, and for personal issues, with close people or with difficult or unresolved issues for the tarot reader. If you see that a topic gives you a lot of anger, anxiety, or fear, these blocks may appear.

Why are there people who cannot have their cards read?

If when we try to do a card reading for another person, we can not get information, this can occur in the situations already mentioned, whether we are emotionally involved, for example with a child, there are things that we should not know, or that the person should not know. Finally, the difficulty of reading can also occur because there are people who manage to block access to their field of information, have some magic or protective spell, or simply because of their personal power. If a person has enough power, consciously or unconsciously can prevent your reading.

In conclusion, if a blockage happens to you many times during a tarot reading, or recurrently, you can reflect on whether it is in all the spreads, on specific issues or with specific people.

Finally, blockages are also a good opportunity, because they can help us reflect on what unresolved issues we need to work on.

Tarot reading for blockages in the tarot

In the previous chapter we saw the different blocks and reasons that prevent us from doing a tarot reading, in this chapter we will see how to use the tarot to investigate and understand a little more blockage.

The idea of this tarot spread is to get a little more information to understand if it is time to do this reading, our state and what happens to us.

For this spread we are going to do a very simple reading in which we are going to use 4 cards, and we are going to arrange them horizontally from left to right.

Reading and interpretation

Let’s see what each card reveals

  • Card 1: What is my current emotional state? This card shows us our state, are we well enough to do a reading?
  • Card 2: What energies will emerge during this reading? In other words, will it be a positive spread or is it a very charged spread, with negative or confused energy?
  • Card 3: What issues will it address? This card will give us more information about the reading, if it is a strong, difficult subject, etc.
  • Card 4: How will I feel after the spread? This card reveals if the reading is worth doing, will we feel better or worse?

If the cards give you answers that make sense AND you feel that these answers will be constructive and positive, then it is a good idea to continue with the reading today.
If you don’t understand the answers the cards give you, you can try doing a reading on another topic, do some exercise to align yourself, or you can try again later or even another day.
